Based on the true history of my time driving an ice cream truck for dear friends, I wrote my first children's book with the hopes of sharing the joy that I've had with my grandson. My girls used to ride on the truck with me, and the two young girls featured in the book are based on them. Tim and I grew up together in Rockford, Michigan, and our families have been close for many years. It was always a dream of mine to publish stories, and 60-some years later, here we are.
